Donors are essential partners in the wide ranging work of Cetana. The work of the foundation provides a rewarding opportunity for you, your faith community, your fraternal organization, a community group or a corporation to support truly outstanding students from Myanmar and to support the other Cetana programs (Cetana English Proficiency Center, Book Project, and Publication Program). Our students are dependent on your generosity. Most of your contribution supports Cetana students and activities directly because a large part of the administrative work for Cetana is performed by volunteers, especially the members of the Board of Directors.
Foundation support is of special importance in our funding and we invite those involved with foundations whose mission is in accord with ours to contact us.
You can contribute by making a direct donation to the Foundation through the website link.
Donations may be made in the form of cash or securities, or by including donations, including appreciated securities, in bequests and by planned giving. Other types of donations, including the opportunity to sponsor a scholar, may be discussed with the Foundation.
All communications by mail and enquiries regarding contributions should be directed to:

Cetana is in a constant quest for funds to make student dreams come true. Your gift multiplies again and again through the graduate’s own contribution of new knowledge and experience on returning to Myanmar.
Cetana is a public charity, a 501 (c ) (3 ) foundation as defined by the United States Internal Revenue Service. All gifts to the foundation are tax deductible.
In remote areas of Myanmar (Burma), access to English-language education is but a dream for many. Cetana's policy of providing scholarships, especially in TOESL, to students from all of Myanmar's ethnic groups can make that dream come true. This Cetana scholar will return to her highland village, after earning her master's degree, to establish an English-language school there.
